| SCHOLARSHIPS: WES PAK SALES will award $5,600
in scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic year. Each of fourteen
scholarships will provide a one-time stipend of $400 to a senior in
high school who will attend either a two-year or four-year college in
the fall of 2005.
ELIGIBILITY: If you or your parent(s) were employed in the picking, packing, and/or shipping of tree fruit or table grapes during the 2004 harvest season, you are eligible to apply for one of these scholarships. Farmers or their families, commission merchants or their families, and directors of WES PAK SALES or their families are not eligible. SELECTION: Two scholarships (one senior man, one senior woman) will be awarded to students in each of seven local high schools (Dinuba, Immanuel, Kingsburg, Orosi, Parlier, Reedley, Selma). Scholarships will be awarded by a scholarship committee selected by the directors of WES PAK SALES. Award selection will be based on character, leadership, citizenship, scholastic ability, and financial need.
